BUET Eligible List 2024
This year, candidates will be selected in two steps and given the opportunity to take part in the admission test. In previous years, only shortlisted candidates could appear for the admission test. This year also the eligible list will be prepared. However, eligible candidates will not be able to participate in the main admission test directly.
The Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology BUET admission test will be taken in two steps. Pre-selection admission test will be taken first. Preliminary admission test will be in 100 Marks in MCQ method. Those who pass the MCQ Test will get the opportunity to participate in the main admission test. The main admission test will be written.
A short list of eligible candidates will be selected from the applicants based on the Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry Total Marks of SSC and Equivalent Examination. Candidates on shortlist will participate in the Preliminary Admission Test. Candidates who have passed the preliminary examination will participate in the final admission test. The BUET Eligible List will be Published on 11 February 2024.

BUET Admission Circular 2024
Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology BUET Admission Circular 2024 has been published. BUET Admission Form 2023-2024 can be filled through the ugadmission.buet.ac.bd website. The Eligible list for Admission Test, Admit Card and seat plan will be published on the same website.
Admission test will be held on the scheduled date in BUET Campus, Dhaka. The admission Result will be published at the end of the admission test. The Admission Test Result will be Published in two steps. Admission activities will be completed as per merit list and waiting list.

Undergraduate Admission Eligibility
- To apply for admission in Bangladesh University of Engineering, the applicant must have passed HSC and equivalent examination in 2023. Candidates must also pass SSC and equivalent examinations in 2020 or 2021.
- Candidates have to get minimum GPA 4.00 out of GPA 5 in SSC and equivalent examination from any education board in Bangladesh. In HSC and equivalent exams, minimum GPA 5.00 out of 5.00 is required.
- At the secondary level, candidates have to get at least 270 marks out of 300 marks in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry.
- Applicants with "O" level, "A" level and foreign degree must also have the qualifications mentioned in the admission prospectus.
For the general applicants, a number of candidates can participate in the admission test through the short list process. All the applicants from 1st to 6,000 will be given the opportunity of admission test on the basis of the MCQ/ Preliminary Result. However, all the applicants belonging to the minority tribal will be given the opportunity of admission test.
