The Board of Secondary and Higher Education has published SSC Question Pattern and Marks Distributions. SSC Question Type and Mark distribution will be applicable for Dhaka, Rajshahi, Comilla, Jessore, Chittagong, Barisal, Sylhet, Dinajpur and Mymensingh Education Boards.
Science, Business Studies and Humanities group exam duration will be 1 hour 30 minutes. 15 minutes for MCQ / Multiple Choice and 1 hour 15 minutes for CQ . There will be no break between the two tests.
Science group question type:
Science group students will participate in three subjects from Physics, Chemistry, Higher Mathematics and Biology. Students do not have to take the exam in optional or fourth subject. Subject wise Marks distribution is given below.
Physics: The subject code of physics is 136. There will be 8 questions for CQ in Physics. Students will be Answered any 2 questions. The time will be 1 hour 15 minutes. Each question will have a 10 marks and a total of 20 marks. There will also be 25 questions in the MCQ section of Physics. Students have to answer 12 questions. The time allotted for MCQ test will be 15 minutes. The total marks will be 12 with 1 mark for each answer.
Chemistry: The subject code of chemistry is 136. The Chemistry Question Pattern and Marks distribution will be like Physics Subject. For CQ, students have to write answers to 2 questions of 8. For each question, the marks will be 10 and total marks will be 20. The duration will be 1 hour and 15 minutes.
Of the 25 MCQs, 12 have to be answered. The mark 1 for each and total will be 12. The MCQ Duration will be 15 minutes.
