Within a few days, Public University Admission Circular 2020-2021 in Bangladesh will be published. This year, first time the Admission test will be taken in cluster system. Admission test will be held in cluster system for a total of 19 universities. The rest of the universities will be taken separate admission tests.
There will be a total of three admission tests in batch system. There will be separate admission test for Science, Humanities and Business Studies (Commerce). But no separate admission test will be taken for change unit.
In other words, a student who is willing to be admitted will get the opportunity to be admitted according to his/her qualifications only with an admission test. Through this test one can get admission in one's own department as well as other departmental subjects. That is how the thematic seats will be kept. This test of 100 marks will be in multiple choice questions (MCQ).
Government University Admission Test Date
The Integrated Admission Test will be held on June 19, June 26, July 3 and July 10. The Admission Test will be taken separately for Science, Humanities and Business Studies.

Eligibility for application
There will be an opportunity to participate in the admission test for the second time in the cluster system admission test this year. In other words, the candidates who passed the HSC and equivalent examinations last year will be able to participate in the admission test for the 2020-21 academic years.
Those who pass HSC and equivalent examinations in 2019 and 2020 will have the opportunity to take part in the admission test. However, the university concerned will decide which universities will admit the students who have taken the test for the second time.
In order to take part in the Humanities Group examination, one has to have a minimum total GPA-6.00 in SSC and HSC or equivalent examinations. However, the minimum GPA 3.00 will be required individually for each.
For the Business Studies Group, the minimum total GPA 6.50 will be required. Minimum required GPA for each of SSC and HSC Level will be required 3.00.
In science, two exams must have a minimum total GPA of 7.00. Individual Minimum GPA in SSC and HSC Level must have 3.00.

Admission Test Marks Distribution
The Humanities Group admission test will be in Bengali, English and Information and Communication Technology (ICT). There will be 40 marks in Bengali, 35 marks in English and 25 marks in ICT.
In Business Studies (Commerce) there will be admission test in Accounting (25 Marks), Business Organization and Management (25 Marks), Language (Total 25 Marks, 13 in Bengali and 12 in English) and ICT (25 Marks).
Science students will have to take admission test in Language (10 marks in Bengali and 10 marks in English out of 20), Chemistry (20 marks), Physics (20 marks) and ICT, Mathematics and Biology. Of these, ICT, Mathematics and Biology are the two subjects to be tested. Each of which will have a number of 20.
After seven agricultural universities, it was decided to take admission test in 19 more general and science and technology universities in cluster system. There will be direct admission test in these universities.
Govt University Admission Form
Public university admission application will be accepted in two steps. The Cluster System Admission Committee has already declared the eligibility of application for the primary application. Eligible candidates can apply online. No fee will be charged for the primary application. At the end of the application, a limited number of candidates will be given the opportunity to participate in the admission test. The Eligible list will be published at the end of the application period.
The applicant who eligible for admission test will be informed through SMS. If the candidate is considered eligible to participate in the admission test, he / she have to fill the final application form. Candidates have to pay an application fee of Tk. 500 during the final application form fill-up.
At the time of final application, the candidate can select the admission test center of his/her choice. Each of the 20 universities will have examination centers.
Admission results will be published after the completion of the admission test. Candidates who pass the admission test will be given a score. Universities will accept admissions according to the scores of students on the merit list. After the publication of the merit list, the universities will issue separate admission notices and accept admissions according to the applicant's score.
Eligible List
All Applicants can’t be participated in the Cluster System Admission Test. Admission test will be taken through selection process. Only eligible candidates will get the opportunity to take part in the admission test. Although no application fee has been accepted in the preliminary selection, the eligible candidates for the admission test will have to pay an application fee Tk.500.
Candidates who are considered eligible for the admission test will be notified via SMS on their mobile phones. Candidates will make final application after receiving the SMS.
