There were a total of 29,988 candidates participated in the Dawra Hadith Examination from different Education Boards and Qawmi Madrasah. Of these, Befaqul Madarisil Arabia Bangladesh had 24,903 candidates, Befaqul Madarisil Qawmia Gowhardanga Bangladesh had 635 candidates, Azad Deeni Edaraye Talim Bangladesh had 1,566 candidates, Tanzimul Madarisid Deeniya had 1301 candidate. There were 1,102 candidates from Anjuman Ittehadul Madaris Bangladesh, 444 candidates from National Religious Madrasa Education Board Bangladesh and 37 candidates from Al-Hayatul Ulaya Bangladesh.

From April 3, Hadith examinations started in 222 examination centers across the country on the same question paper. Examinations in 13 subjects ended on 8 April. Due to strict restrictions during the exams, the board authorities take the exams in two shifts every day.
