The Directorate General of Health Education has published the Medical Admission Result 2024. This result was released, on February 11, 2024. There are total 49194 candidates has been passed. This is the result of admission to government and private medical colleges in the academic year 2023–24. Through this admission will be completed in all government and private medical colleges of Bangladesh. Apart from the merit list, DGME has also published the waiting list. Medical Admission Result 2024 Bangladesh

In Bangladesh, the medical college admission test for the academic session of 2023–24 was held on Friday, February 9, 2024. Through this, students will be admitted to all the government and private medical colleges in the country. There are currently 37 government medical colleges in Bangladesh. There are total 5 thousand 380 seats for MBBS course in these medical colleges. Among them, there are 3,384 merit quotas, 846 district quotas, 87 freedom fighter quotas, and 33 tribal quotas.

Also, there are currently 71 private medical colleges in Bangladesh. There are a total of 6,072 seats for the MBBS course in all private medical colleges. Through the published medical admission result for 2023–2024, students will be admitted to the MBBS course in these medical colleges as well.

The published medical admission result 2024 onwards admission to MBBS course will be completed in all government and private medical colleges. Apart from students in Bangladesh, international students also have the opportunity to get admission. There are separate seats for them in all the government and private medical colleges in Bangladesh.

After the admission in the government medical colleges, the admission process in the private medical colleges will be started. After the completion of admission from the first merit list in the government medical college, the admission process will start from the second merit list. After the admissions from the first merit list, the admissions will be done from the waiting list for vacant seats. A few rounds of migration will be done before this. The admission process in government medical colleges will be completed through migration and various merit lists in the academic year 2023-2024. After that, the admissions process at private medical colleges will start.

Each private medical college will publish a separate admission circular for admission. Only students who are on the merit list published by the Directorate General of Health Education (DGME) can apply for admission to private medical colleges.

In other years, students who scored 40 or more marks in the admission test were considered eligible to apply for admission in private medical colleges. But this year the rules have been changed. This year the Ministry of Health published the merit list of 33 thousand 860 candidates. Private medical colleges have to complete admission from this merit list. That is, there is an opportunity for admission up to merit rank 33860 from this year. No student will be considered eligible for admission to the medical college if he/she gets 40 marks or more in the admission test but the merit rank is not within 33860.

Medical Admission Result Date 2024

Medical Admission Test Result 2023 24 is likely to be released today on 11th February 2024. It has been informed by the Directorate General of Health Education that the results have already been prepared. Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology BUET is responsible for preparing and publishing the results. They have already completed the evaluation the Answer script.
