The Islamic University of Technology IUT Admission Circular 2025 has been published. The IUT Admission Form 2024-25 must be filled out from the admission website admission.iutoic-dhaka.edu. The Admission Application process Started on 22 January 2025 and will continue until 5 February 2024. Bangladeshi and international students can apply for admission from the same website. The detailed prospectus mentions the eligibility of both Bangladeshi and international students.
Eligible candidates can download the admit card at the end of the application. Applicants must participate in the admission test according to the seat plan on the scheduled date. IUT Admission 2025 will be completed based on the following roadmap.

Application Eligibility
- MINIMUM GPA 4.5 Both HSC & SSC/Equivalent
- O/A Level or Equivalent O Level: Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and English with Minimum grade B (60% marks)
A Level: Mathematics, Physics & Chemistry Minimum grade B (60% marks) in at least one subject Minimum grade C (50% marks) in other two subjects - Must have to pass in 2022 or 2024
IUT Admission Form (Bangladeshi Students)
To complete the online application form, candidates must click on the “Apply Now” Tab on the Admission website (admission.iutoic-dhaka.edu or www.iutoic-dhaka.edu/admission) or the “Apply Now” button on the IUT website (www.iutoic-dhaka.edu).
The online application form requires the following tasks to be completed:
- Candidates have to provide their nationality, religion and the programme for which they are applying.
- Host country candidates have to select Bangladesh. Nonresident Bangladeshi (NRB) candidates can also apply; however, they must mention that information. Note that NRB candidates also need to sit for the Admission Test or have a subject-based SAT II score (1400 or more).
NRB candidates must also complete Step 2 (Confirmation of payment of the admission fees); otherwise, their application will not be processed. If an NRB candidate sits for an Admission test, she/he needs to complete Step 3 as well. - Candidates have to select the programme she/he likes to apply for.
- Candidates have to mention their religion. Note that only Muslims can apply.
- Host country candidates have to select Bangladesh. Nonresident Bangladeshi (NRB) candidates can also apply; however, they must mention that information. Note that NRB candidates also need to sit for the Admission Test or have a subject-based SAT II score (1400 or more).
- Candidates have to provide detailed academic records of the secondary and higher secondary levels.
- Candidates with Bangladesh National Curriculum must provide the board’s name, year of HSC examination passing, and roll number for both the SSC and HSC examinations.
Their GPA and grades of the selected subjects will be displayed. Candidates have to confirm their grades. They can continue with the online application process if they think the grades are incorrect. However, they need to send email to admission@iut-dhaka.edu to correct the grades following the required process.
If students’ grades are not displayed and they think they are eligible to apply, they must send an email to admission@iut-dhaka.edu and, if necessary, contact the office of the registrar. - Candidates with English-medium education have to select GCE as their board and provide the Roll Number and Year of passing of both O Level and A Level examinations.
Furthermore, candidates with English-medium education must enter their grades of selected subjects in O and A Levels. - Candidates with HSC in the Higher Secondary level and O Level in the secondary level have to provide the Name of Board, Year of Passing, and Roll Number of HSC examination and then mention that she/he completed the O Level in the secondary level and provide the data of O Level examination. The grades of selected subjects of the O Level have to be provided.
Candidates with English-medium education must send the hard copy of the transcript to the Office of the Registrar on or before the application deadline (31 August 2021) between 10:00 AM and 4:00 PM on working days (Monday to Friday).
- Candidates with Bangladesh National Curriculum must provide the board’s name, year of HSC examination passing, and roll number for both the SSC and HSC examinations.
- Candidates must provide/confirm their details, including Name, Father’s Name and Mother’s Name. Note that candidates with SSC/HSC do not need to provide these data.
- Candidates have to upload their recent color photograph. The size of the photograph should not be larger than 100 KB.
- Finally, candidates have to provide their mobile numbers. All the admission-related information will be sent to the candidates using this mobile number. An SMS with a “Confirmation Code” will be sent to the mentioned mobile number when the candidate clicks on the “Send Code” button. Candidates have to validate the mobile number by entering the “Confirmation Code” extracted from the SMS in a specified field and then have to click on the “Confirm” button. If the code matches the sent code, Step 1 of the online application will be completed. An SMS will be sent with the PIN and password. For future login, they have to use the PIN and password.
Payment Instruction:
- Each candidate has to pay the admission fees and confirm the payment. To confirm the payment, they must log in with the PIN and password previously sent by SMS.
- No Admit Card will be generated, if the payment is not confirmed, and the candidate will not be allowed to sit for the admission test.
- Detailed instructions for the payment and confirmation will be available here in time.
- If a candidate with subject based SAT II score, does not appear in the admission test, their online application will be completed here. However, the application will not be processed, if the payment is not done within due date. A confirmation SMS will be sent to her/his mobile.

IUT Admission Form for International Students
To start the online application process, candidates have to click on the “Apply Now” Tab on the Admission website (admission.iutoic-dhaka.edu or www.iutoic-dhaka.edu/admission) or “Apply Now“ button on IUT website (www.iutoic-dhaka.edu). International candidates need to complete the following steps to complete the online application. In each step, they need to provide the mandatory information and click on the “Next’’ button to move to the next step.
The online application form requires the following tasks to be completed:
- Candidates have to provide their nationality, religion and the programme for which they are applying.
- Candidates have to select their country. A message will be displayed for all international students to ensure that the candidates understand this application will not be considered for any scholarships.
- Candidates have to select the programme, she/he likes to apply for.
- Candidates have to mention their religion. Note that only Muslim can apply.
- In the next two steps, international candidates have to provide their personal details and contact address.
- Candidates have to upload their recent color photograph. The size of the photograph should not be larger than 100 KB.
- In this step, international candidates will provide their preference of different programmes according to their choice. The data to be entered by the international candidates in this step will vary according to the programme selected by the candidates in the first step.
For BSc Engineering and BBA:
The international candidates will select the programmes offered for BSc Engineering and BBA according to their preferred choice. For example, a candidate who is more interested in Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) than Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE) will select CSE before EEE in her/his programme choice order. Candidates are asked to pay special attention here, because the admission offer will be based on the programme choice order.
For MSc Engineering and PhD:
International candidates will select the appropriate Programme according to their interests. Note that candidates must have a BSc Engineering or equivalent degree in the selected programme for MSc engineering and both BSc Engineering and MSc Engineering or Equivalent degrees in the selected programme for PhD.
In this step, international candidates have to provide their academic details. The academic details will vary according to the entry requirements of different programmes. For details about entry requirements, please visit this page. Therefore, according to the programme selected in the first step, international candidates will be asked to provide academic details.
In this step, international candidates must upload scanned copies of their transcripts and certificates. Candidates can upload either a Zip file containing all the transcripts and certificates or the scanned files one after another.
Finally, upon successful completion of the above steps, candidates will receive a confirmation email containing their PIN and password for future login.
Please note that the candidates are responsible for the correctness and completeness of the application. An incomplete application will not be processed.
IUT Eligible List 2024/ Short List

The IUT Eligible candidates list will be published on 17 April 2024. Candidates who are on the IUT Shortlist will be able to download the Admit card from 11 May 2024 to 17 May 2024. IUT Admit Card 2024 Download
Eligible candidates will be able to download the Islamic University of Technology Admit card during 11 May 2024 to 17 May, 2024 for IUT Admission Test 2022-23. - The Admission Test of the candidates bearing Roll No: 02001 to 05000 will be held at DUET CAMPUS, GAZIPUR.

The Islamic University of Technology IUT Admission Result 2025 has been Published. The IUT Merit List Published Today on 22 March 2025. IUT Result 2024-25 has been Published on Admission website admission.iutoic-dhaka.edu. The Combined Merit List has been Published for B.Sc Eng and BBA for Host Country (Bangladesh) and the Merit List for BTHT for Host Country (Bangladesh) of Islamic University of Technology. Selected Candidates must completed their Department or Program Choice.
