HSC Result 2020 Published Date


HSC Result 2020 has been published today, on 30 January 2021. Earlier, the results were supposed to be released in the last week of December, but it was not released. Later, in the first week of January, the initiative was taken to publish the results. But later it was also postponed.


This is the first time in Bangladesh, HSC and equivalent examination results are being published next year. This is mainly due to the results being published in the auto pass method. Considering the legal complexities, it was first decided to publish the results through a gazette. It was later decided to publish the result by amending the law instead of the gazette. This results in delay in publishing the results.


HSC Result 2021


HSC Result 2021 is basically the result of HSC Exam 2020. In other years, results were released within 45 to 60 days of the completion the test, but it was not possible to take the exam this year. The HSC and equivalent examinations of 2020 were canceled mainly due to COVID-19.


The results were announced to publish in the auto pass method by announcing the cancellation of the exams. According to the announcement, the results were supposed to be released in December 2020, but it was not possible. As a result, it is being published in 2021.



The HSC and equivalent examinations 2020 were supposed to start from April 1, but it was later postponed or later canceled.


The total number of candidates including regular, irregular and improvement is 13 lakh 65 thousand 789. This year all the candidates have passed due to auto pass results. As a result, the pass rate is 100 percent. All the candidates who failed in one or more subjects last year are also passing this time.

HSC Auto Pass Result 2020


The HSC Result 2020 has been published in auto pass method. The decision was taken due to cancellation of Higher Secondary and equivalent examinations in Corona situation. Also HSC equivalent Alim result and HSC vocational result have been published in autopass method.


This result has been prepared on the basis of SSC and equivalent and JSC and equivalent examination results. The education boards prepare the HSC Auto Pass Result based on the average of these two examination results.



The Auto Pass Result has been prepared considering 25 percent for JSC and equivalent results and 75 percent for SSC and equivalent results. However, the SSC and equivalent examinations results have been taken into consideration in preparing the auto pass results of those education board students who did not have JSC equivalent examination.


Although the results have been published in the auto pass method without examination, the subject based results have been published. Subject based grades are prepared by masking the subjects at JSC and SSC level. Besides, results including 4th subject have been prepared. As a result, all the students who got A+ in SSC and equivalent examinations have been confirmed A + in HSC.
