Application Eligibility
To apply for admission in Home Economics Colleges, the student has to pass SSC or equivalent examination from 2020 to 2021. In 2023, the candidate has to pass HSC or equivalent examination from any education board in Bangladesh. Candidates who have passed 'O' Level and 'A' Level examinations can also apply.
Candidate should have minimum total GPA of 5.5 including 4th subject. Candidates must have minimum GPA 2.50 individually.

Home Economics Unit Admission Test Mark Distribution
Admission test of Home Economics College will be held in MCQ system. Duration of admission test is 1 hour. Admission test will be held in 100 Marks for 100 questions.
Admission test questions will be according to the higher secondary level syllabus. Every candidate has to participate in the admission test in Bengali and English. In addition, candidates have to participate in the admission test in 2 elective subjects. A total of 30 admission tests will be taken for each subject.
Pass mark is 40 in the admission test. Those who get less than 40 marks will not be considered for admission.
