This year the admission to the Engineering University is going to be together. There are going to be admission tests in three engineering universities in cluster system. The three universities are Rajshahi University of Engineering and Technology (RUET), Chittagong University of Engineering and Technology (CUET) and Khulna University of Engineering and Technology (KUET). However, it is not certain whether Bangladesh University of Engineering Technology (BUET) will be associated with it.
There will be examination centers in the respective universities. For example, the center for the examinees of Rajshahi will be at RUET campus. For Examinees of Chittagong, the Admission Test will be held in CUET Campus and For Examinees of Khulna, the Admission Test will be held in KUET Campus.
The vice-chancellors of the concerned universities said that they want BUET to accompany them in the admission test of the cluster system. CUET, KUET and RUET authorities are keen to conduct examinations on an equal-partnership basis with four engineering universities.

Engineering University Admission Test Marks Distribution
The meeting decided to formulate a policy to fix the distribution of marks. The type of examination and distribution will remain the same as before in engineering universities. That means the test will be written.
Seat Plan
Rajshahi, Chittagong and Khulna Universities of Engineering and Technology have made two proposals to go for admission test in cluster system with BUET. It has been informed that they are willing to come under the cluster system if the chairman of the admission committee is changed in a phased system and seats are arranged in all the university campuses.
According to BUET's proposal, the chairman of the Central Admission Test Committee has been asked to be elected from BUET every year. The test center will be at BUET only. However, the committee will have the participation of other engineering universities. Question papers will be prepared by the Central Admission Test Committee.
