Dhaka University has been closed for 15 months due to corona. Therefore, Dhaka University has started the work of filling up forms for admission activities and examinations in different years or semesters through online.
Online admission / re-admission of students studying in the undergraduate course of the university will start from 8 pm on Monday (June 21). However, the online admission process for the master's course will start from June 23
Through this process of paying admission and form fill-up fees online, Dhaka University has taken another step forward in digital technology which has touched a new milestone for the advancement of digitalization, said the Vice Chancellor of the University, Prof. Dr. Md. Akhtaruzzaman.
These activities will start online from Monday night. Students can complete the admission and examination form fill-up activities through this website https://student.eis.du.ac.bd.
The decision was taken at a meeting held at the university's Professor Abdul Matin Chowdhury virtual classroom last Thursday (June 17). Dhaka University Vice-Chancellor Prof. Md. Akhtaruzzaman presided over the meeting.
What is required for online admission/ Re-admission and Form Fill-up?
The student needs to register by visiting the university's website https://student.eis.du.ac.bd. For registration, the student has to provide 10-digit registration number of Dhaka University. Besides, the student has to give the roll number of the higher secondary examination or the roll number of the secondary examination or the roll number of the admission test in Dhaka University.
After providing this information, students will have to pay their examination and form filling fees. Students will be able to pay instant online admission fees through all mobile banking and debit / credit cards.
Students will pay their admission and exam fees online. However, except for the admission and examination fees of the students and all the dues of the department / institute can be paid after the examination. Considering the corona virus situation, it has been decided to waive the fine this time.
Dhaka University ICT (Information and Communication Technology) Cell Director Prof. Mohammad Asif Hossain Khan said, students can go to the website and complete the admission. Admission fee can be deposited in Janata Bank. In addition, student can deposit these fees through about 40 online channels including bKash, Rocket, Nagad etc. Through this, registration for admission and examination of students will be completed for the time being. Students will be able to pay the remaining fees or those related to the department / institute after the opening of the university.
