46th BCS Preliminary Result 2024
46 BCS preliminary result 2024 have been released today, Wednesday. This information has been confirmed by the Bangladesh Public Service Commission (PSC) through a press release. An emergency meeting at 3:30 pm approved the release of the results. About four lakh candidates have participated in the 46th BCS.
On April 26, the 46th BCS Preliminary Examination was held in Dhaka, Chittagong, Rajshahi, Khulna, Barisal, Sylhet, Rangpur and Mymensingh.
The application time of BCS was extended in several times. 3 lakh 46 thousand applications were submitted in 46th BCS. The PSC had extended the application time for the 46th BCS in three phases due to non-completion of final examinations in different universities.
In the 46th BCS circular, it has been said that 2 thousand 309 officers will be taken in different cadres in this BCS. Of these, 300 will be appointed in administration cadre, 100 in police cadre, 25 in foreign cadre, 843 in education cadre, 35 in audit, 22 in information, 19 in tax, 14 in customs and 19 in cooperatives.
