The 47th BCS Circular 2024 has been published. The circular was published on November 28, 2024. The Circular published by the Bangladesh Public Service Commission PSC. The Online Application will be Started from 10 December 2024. The Application Deadline is 31 December 2024. Online Application can be Made through BPSC Teletalk Com BD website.
A total of 3487 officers will be appointed through the 47th General BCS. Most of these will be recruited in Education. 429 people will be recruited in education. Besides, 300 people will be appointed in administration, 100 in police, 25 in foreign affairs, 35 in audit, 19 in tax, 14 in customs, 19 in cooperatives, 75 in dental surgeons and 383 in other cadres. There are total 1022 Post for Non-cadre post.
BCS Application Eligibilities
In order to apply in the general cadres of 47th BCS Circular 2024, the candidate should have a bachelor’s degree from a recognized university or a bachelor’s degree or equivalent degree for a period of 4 (four) years after passing the HSC examination from a recognized board. However, if a candidate has more than one 3rd division / class or equivalent GPA in his / her educational life, he / she will not be considered as eligible.
Qualifications of Professional Cadre: There should also be separate educational qualifications for Professional Cadre. Detailed educational qualifications based on the post are mentioned in the 47th BCS circular.
Eligibility of Education Cadre: There should be separate educational qualification for General Education Cadre for Government General Colleges in 47th BCS. For the education cadre, the candidate should have a postgraduate degree in a first class or equivalent GPA in the relevant subject from a recognized university or a second class or equivalent GPA with honors in second class or equivalent GPA. Or a bachelor’s (honors) degree with a minimum second class or equivalent GPA for a period of four years in the relevant subject.
APPEARED CANDIDATE: If a candidate has appeared in such an examination that if he / she passes the examination, he / she will be eligible to participate in the 47th BCS Exam-2020, then he / she can apply as an Appeared candidate. However, even if the result of his/her examination is not published by the last date of submission of the 47th BCS application, he/she can still apply online as a candidate. However, it will be accepted temporarily. Only candidates who have completed their undergraduate / postgraduate examinations by the last date of application for the 47th BCS will be considered as descended candidates.
Age limit: Candidates must be between 21 and 32 years of age on November 1, 2024. However, sons and daughters of freedom fighters / martyred freedom fighters, disabled candidates and candidates of BCS health cadre will be accepted from 21 to 32 years of age.
For BCS general education cadre, only minor ethnic group candidates will be accepted from 21 to 32 years of age.
Physical Eligibility: In case of BCS Police and BCS Ansar cadre, the height of male candidate should be at least 162.56 cm and weight should be at least 54.54 kg. The minimum height for female candidates is 152.40 cm. And minimum weight should be 47.47 kg.
For all other cadres, the minimum height of male candidates is 152.40 cm. And a minimum weight of 47.00 kg and a minimum height of 147.32 cm for female candidates. And minimum weight should be 40.00 kg for females.
47th BCS Application Form 2024
Candidates can be applying through Teletalk Bangladesh website bpsc.teletalk.com.bd [Click Here] or Bangladesh Public Service Commission official website bpsc.gov.bd. 47th BCS Circular 2024, detailed instructions for filling online application form and prescribed BPSC Form-1 are available on the prescribed website. There will be detailed instructions regarding filling up the application form for the BCS exam 2024 (BPSC Form-1) online, payment instruction and Admit Card Download. Before filling the online form, the candidate can download the instruction part and follow each instruction well. There are 3 categories of Application Form based on cadre preference, such as:
(i) Application Form for General Cadres
(ii) Application Form for Technical/Professional Cadres
(iii) Application Form for General and Technical/Professional (both) Cadres
If the candidate only wants to be a candidate of General Cadre, if he/she clicks on the button of Application form of General Cadre, the application form of General Cadre will be visible. Similarly, if you want to be a candidate of General and Technical / Professional cadre, if you click on the button assigned to both cadres, the application form of both cadres will be visible. If the desired BCS Application Form is visible, each part of the form has to be filled as per the instructions given.
BCS Application Form has 3 parts: Part-1: Personal Information, Part-2: Educational Qualification, Part-3: Cadre Option. The detailed instructions for filling the BCS Application Form and the information / instructions given in each field of the BCS Application Form should be followed.
Declaration: The candidate has to declare in the declaration part of the online application form (BPSC Form-1) that all the information given in the application form of the candidate is correct and true. Recommendation to cancel candidature or appointment at any stage before or after the examination, even after appointment, if any of the information provided is untrue or false, or if any impropriety is found or resorted to fraud or corruption. Legal action can be taken against him/her.
Photo upload: If Part-1, Part-2 and Part-3 of BPSC Form-1 are successfully completed, Application Preview will be visible. Candidate must upload his/her photo should not be less than or more than 300 x 300 ((Length x Width) pixels and File Size is not more than 100 KB in the space provided in the Preview. Note that black and white photo will not be accepted. If the picture is not printed in the applicant’s copy, the application form will be rejected. Photo with sunglasses will not be accepted. Click on the Help Menu of the Home Page to get detailed instructions about Photo and Signature.
Signature upload: Not less than or more than 300 x 80 pixels in the space specified for signing in Application Preview (Length x Width) and File Size not more than 60 KB is acceptable, the candidate has to upload his/her own signature of such size. If the signature is not printed on the applicant’s copy, the application will be rejected.

BCS Admit Card Download
By paying the prescribed fee for the examination as per the instructions of applicant’s copy, using the User ID and Password received in the SMS message sent from Teletalk, the candidate will be able to immediately download and collect the Admit Card with the assigned registration number.
BCS Syllabus
The syllabus on the subject of Preliminary Test and Written Exam will be available on 30.12.2024 from 10.00 am on the Bangladesh Public Service Commission’s website www.bpsc.gov.bd and Teletalk Bangladesh Ltd website http://bpsc.teletalk.com.bd. Candidates can download their preliminary and written examination syllabus from the Commission’s website.
BCS Exam Center
Preliminary test and written test will be held in Dhaka, Chittagong, Rajshahi, Khulna, Barisal, Sylhet, Rangpur and Mymensingh centers. However, if it is not possible to conduct the preliminary test / written test in any of the centers of the candidate’s choice, then the candidate has to take part in the preliminary test / written test in any other center determined by the Commission. Note that the viva examination will be held at the head office of the Commission in Dhaka. No application for change of center will be accepted.
