Bangladesh Navy Officer Cadet Recruitment circular has been published. 2021-B Officer Cadet Batch (1st Group) must apply online. Officer Cadets have the opportunity to become captains, aircraft pilots, naval commandos and submariners of the Bangladesh Navy. The last date of application is 11 January 2021.
Eligibility for application
- To apply in Bangladesh Navy officer Cadet, the candidate must have physical and educational qualifications. The age of the candidate should be 16 years 6 months to 21 years on July 1, 2021. However, the age limit for candidates working in the Armed Forces is from 18 to 25 years.
- Height and weight: Male candidates should be 5 feet 4 inches in height and female candidates should be 5 feet 2 inches. Male candidates should weigh 50 kg and female candidates should weigh a minimum of 47 kg.
- Chest size: Male candidates should have a chest size of 30 inches in normal condition and 32 inches in extended condition. Female candidates should have a minimum chest size of 28 inches in normal condition and a minimum of 30 inches in extended condition.
- Education: Candidates should have passed secondary and higher secondary in science group. Both exams must have a minimum GPA of 4.50 separately. In addition, both exams must have a minimum GPA of 4.00 in Mathematics and Physics.
- Both male and female candidates must be unmarried and a Bangladeshi citizen.
Bangladesh Navy Application Form
Candidates have to apply online. Applications can be made through the www.joinnavy.navy.mil.bd website. At the last stage of application, payment has to be made through online banking, mobile banking. Application fee is Tk. 700. After Completed the application process, the candidate has to download and print the call-up letter, Form Commission-1A (completed application form) and Personal Information Form for the preliminary interview and bring it along with other documents.
Primary Health Examination and Preliminary Interview: Primary health check-ups and preliminary interviews will be held at Dhaka, Chittagong and Khulna centers. The interview will be held from 17 to 21 January 2021.
Written Test: Written test on Intelligence and English and General Knowledge of the candidates considered suitable for Primary Health Examination and Preliminary Interview will be held on 22nd January 2021 (changeable) at the mentioned centers.
Examination and Interview by ISSB: Examination and Interview by ISSB of the candidates who have passed the written examination will be held at the Inter-Services Selection Board (ISSB), Dhaka Cantonment, Dhaka.
