BSMR Maritime University Admission Circular 2025 has been Published. Online Application has been Started through the applyonline.bsmrmu.edu.bd website from 10 November 2024. Application Deadline is 1 December 2024. After that, the Eligible Candidates list will be Released. Only Eligible Candidates can Download an admit Card and Participate in the Admission Test. The admission Test will be held on 20 and 21 December 2024 at Dhaka.

Application Eligibilities
Students must have the following qualifications to apply to Bangabandhu Maritime University.
- Faculty of Earth and Ocean Science: Must have a minimum GPA of 4.00 in HSC / Equivalent and SSC / Equivalent examinations from Science Group.
- Faculty of Engineering and Technology: Must have a minimum GPA of 4.00 in HSC / Equivalent and SSC / Equivalent examinations from Science Group.
- Faculty of Maritime Governance and Policy: HSC / Equivalent and SSC / Equivalent examinations from any group should have a minimum GPA of 3.50.
- Faculty of Shipping Administration: Must have a minimum GPA of 3.50 in HSC / Equivalent and SSC / Equivalent examinations from any group.
Apply Online
The Bangabandhu Maritime University Admission Form has to be filled out online. The admission test center should be selected while filling out the application form. BSMRMU Admission test will be held in Dhaka, Chittagong, Rangpur and Khulna. Follow the instructions below to fill out the admission form.

- Go to the Admission Option
- Fill out the application form with the required information.
- Upload applicant photo.
- Select faculty and Test Center.
- Pay the application fee.
- Submit the application form.
Application Fee Payment
The Applicant has to pay the admission test application fee while applying online. An application fee of Tk.700 / – has to be paid for each faculty. Application fees can be paid through Mobile Banking Rocket, Nagad, bKash, My Cash and T-Cash. Application fees can be paid through debit/credit card (Visa, MasterCard).
Eligible Candidates List
The BSMR Maritime University Admission Test 2025 will be held on 20 and 21 December, 2024 in Dhaka, Chittagong, Rangpur and Khulna. Not all applicants have the opportunity to participate in the admission test. The prescribed number of candidates can participate in the admission test. According to the Admission Notice, the short list of eligible candidates for the admission test will be published on 18 February. The list will be published on the Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Maritime University website applyonline.bsmrmu.edu.bd/Admission. The applicant will also be informed via SMS about downloading the admit card.
Only eligible candidates can download the admission test admit card. No candidate can participate in the admission test without an admit card. The admission test center will be selected according to the candidate’s order of preference when filling out the admission application form. Also, the shortlist will be made based on the candidates’ SSC and HSC level results.

Admit Card Download
BSMR Maritime University Admit Card 2025 has been Published. Only eligible candidates can download the admit card. The Admit Card Download Schedule has also been Published. Applicants can Download the Admit Card from 15 December to 19 December 2024. The Admit Card will have the admission test date, seating arrangements and detailed instructions. No candidate can participate in the admission test without an admit card.
Candidates will be informed about the receipt of the admit card through SMS. Admit Cards have to be downloaded within the stipulated time. There is no opportunity to download it after the deadline.
How to download the Admit Card?
Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Maritime University Admit Card can be downloaded from https://applyonline.bsmrmu.edu.bd/Admission/Login website. Candidates can download the admit card by logging in with their user ID and password. Follow the instructions below to download the Admission Test admit card.
- Visit the BSMR Maritime University Admission Website applyonline.bsmrmu.edu.bd.
- Log in with the user ID and password using the login option.
- Download the Admit Card from the Admit Card Download option on the dashboard.
- Print it on A4 paper in color.
Note that if the candidate has applied in more than one unit, he/she has to download a separate admit card for each unit. Even if the candidate applies separately, the admit card can be downloaded by logging in with any user ID and password. If the user ID and password are lost, you need to contact the support center.
The Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Maritime University BSMR Maritime University Eligible List 2024-25 has been Published. It was Published on 9 December 2024. Only shortlisted candidates will be able to participate in the admission test. Only eligible candidates can download the admit card for the admission test.
The application deadline for Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Maritime University has already expired. A certain number of candidates from the applicants will be allowed to participate in the admission test.
Seat Plan
The BSMR Maritime University Admission Test will be held on 20 and 21 December 2024. The Admission Test for the Faculty of Maritime Governance and Policy, Faculty of Shipping Administration Unit, will be held on Friday, 2 February. The admission test of the Faculty of Earth and Ocean Science and the Faculty of Engineering and Technology Unit will be held on Saturday, 21 December 2024.
The admit card will mention a detailed seat plan for the admission test. In addition, a separate seat plan for each unit will be published 24-48 hours before the admission test. Detailed seating arrangements will be published on the notice board on the University website.
BSMR Maritime University Admission Result
BSMR Maritime University Admission Result 2025 was Published on 15 February 2025. The BSMR Maritime University Admission Result 2024-2025 can be found on the bsmrmu.edu.bd website. Candidates who have passed will also be notified of the BSMR Maritime University Admission Result 2024-25 by SMS.
The Admission Test Results of the Faculty of Earth and Ocean Science, Faculty of Engineering and Technology, Faculty of Maritime Governance and Policy and Faculty of Shipping Administration will be published simultaneously. A separate center-based merit list and a waiting list will be published for each faculty. Admission will be completed from the waiting list at the end of admission from the merit list.
The admission process will start after the BSMR Maritime University Merit List 2025. According to the Admission Circular and Prospectus, the Admission process will start from 19 December 2024 until 10 March 2025. According to the Admission Notice, classes will start on March 10 after admission.
