Jahangirnagar University is a fully residential public university in Bangladesh. It is located in Savar, Dhaka. It has a large campus and multiple residential halls for male and female students.
The JU Admission Circular 2024-25 has been published. This marks the beginning of the admission process for the undergraduate program in the 2024-2025 academic year. All activities related to Jahangirnagar University Admission 2025 will be conducted through ju-admission.org.

Unit-based admission test dates and schedules will be published on the admission website and in various national dailies. A detailed seat plan will be published for each unit before the admission test.
Jahangirnagar University is separate from the Universities Integrated admission process. As a result, JU will conduct the admission process for various faculties and departments through a separate admission test. A separate admission test will be conducted for each unit. Results will be published after the admission test for each unit. Candidates from the merit list and waiting list will be called for an interview. Subject allocation and admission will be completed based on the interview.
Jahangirnagar University has several units for different departments and disciplines. Unit A is for the Faculty of Mathematics and Physics, Unit B for the Faculty of Social Sciences, Unit C for the Faculty of Arts and Humanities (excluding the Department of Drama and Dramatics and the Department of Fine Arts), Unit C1 for the Department of Drama and Dramatics and the Department of Fine Arts, Unit D for the Faculty of Biological Sciences, Unit E for the Faculty of Business Studies, Unit F for the Faculty of Law, Unit G for the Institute of Business Administration (IBA-JU), Unit H for the Institute of Information Technology, and Unit I for Bangabandhu Institute of Comparative Literature and Culture.
JU Admission 2024-25
The JU Admission 2024-25 roadmap has been announced through the Jahangirnagar University Admission Circular 2024-2025. According to the announcement, the admission process for Jahangirnagar University in the academic year 2024-2025 will be completed. However, the authorities can change any date or decision under any special circumstances.

Admission Test Schedule
The JU Admission test for the academic year 2024-2025 will be held according to the following schedule. The admission test will be held only on the Jahangirnagar University campus in multiple shifts.
Eligibility Application
- To apply for JU Admission 2024-25, candidates must have passed the Secondary/equivalent examination in 2021 or later. In addition, they must have passed the Higher Secondary/equivalent examination in 2023 or 2024.
- Those who have passed the GCE O-Level and A-Level examinations in 2019 or later can also apply for admission. Candidates must have passed at least 5 subjects in the O-Level examination and at least 2 subjects in the A-Level examination. They must have a “B” grade in at least 4 subjects and a “C” grade in 3 subjects out of 7 subjects in the O Level and A Level examinations.
- The total GPA will be calculated including the 4th subject of Secondary/equivalent and Higher Secondary/equivalent examinations. Students who meet the required qualifications can apply to any unit.

- Print out the application form and write down the biller ID.

Admit Card Download
Jahangirnagar University Admit Card 2025 has been published. Admission test admit card can be downloaded immediately after completing the payment for each unit. JU Admit Card 2025 can be downloaded from February 17, 2025 until the date of the admission test. Candidates must upload their photo before downloading the admit card. Admission admit card is available for download from the admission website, ju-admission.org. No candidate can download the admit card without uploading a photo. If the photo has already been uploaded, the admit card can be downloaded directly. Jahangirnagar University seat plan has also been published for all units.
Admit Card Download Process
To download Jahangirnagar University JU Admit Card 2025 for A, B, C, D and E units, follow the instructions below.
- Prepare a color photograph of 300×300 pixels and a signature of 300×80 pixels within 100 KB.
- Go to https://ju-admission.org/ and select the Admit Card menu.
- Login with mobile number and password.
- Upload your photo and signature (if not already).
- Download your admit card and print it in color.
Please note applicants have to download separate admit cards for each unit. No one will be allowed to enter the examination hall without an admit card. Instructions for the exam will be mentioned on the JU Admission Admit Card 2023
Seat Plan
Jahangirnagar University Seat Plan 2025 has been published. JU Seat Plan 2024 for A, B, C, D and E units has been published. The university authorities have released the details of the seat plan today through the admission website. The seat plan for all units can be checked through the ju-admission.org website. Applicants will also be informed about the seat plan via SMS. You can check your seat plan with your mobile number, which was used in the application form. To find the JU admission seat plan 2025, follow the steps below.

- Type the admission roll number
- Press the “View Seat Plan” button
Admission Results
Jahangirnagar University admission results 2024 have been published. JU admission result 2024 PDF is now available. The results of the admission test for the Faculty of Biological Sciences will be available on the admission website ju-admission.org. Jahangirnagar University D, E, A, C and B Unit results 2024 can also be found by logging into the admission website and going to the details section.
Separate merit lists for males and females can be downloaded from the results option on the admission website. The waiting list will also be available on the same list. Admission will be taken from the waiting list after the admission from the merit list is completed. A merit list has been prepared with 10 times the total number of seats.
Subjects and departments will be assigned based on the admission test merit score and interview. Detailed schedule of the interview will be published on the website. After the interview, the final results will be published on the website and on the notice board of the respective faculty.
The admission test for A-Unit of the Faculty of Biological Sciences of Jahangirnagar University was held on February 22, 2024. The admission test for C-Unit of the Faculty of Arts and Humanities was held on February 25. After that, the results of C Unit were published on February 27. JU admission result D unit 2024 was published on February 28, 2024. The results of B and E units were published on February 29, 2024. Before that, the admission tests for other units were completed, and the results were published.
