Dhaka University DU Technology Unit Admission circular 2025 has been published. Online application for admission in Government Engineering Colleges and Private Engineering Colleges affiliated to the Faculty of Engineering and Technology, Dhaka University is required. Application form can be filled through collegeadmission.eis.du.ac.bd website. Application forms can be filled from 6 January 2025 to 12 February 2025. DU Technology Unit Admission Test will be held on 26 April 2025 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am.
Colleges affiliated to the DU Technology Unit
There are 6 colleges under DU ICT Unit for Technical Colleges. Among them 4 engineering colleges, 1 textile engineering college and 1 textile institute. Out of 4 engineering colleges, 3 are government colleges and 1 is private engineering college and 2 are textile related private colleges.
The colleges and institutes affiliated to Dhaka University Technology Unit are: Mymensingh Engineering College, Faridpur Engineering College, Barisal Engineering College, National Institute of Textile Engineering and Research (NITER), Shyamli Textile Engineering College, K.M. Dhaka University Technology Unit Eligibility/ Qualification
To apply to the Dhaka University Technology Unit, the candidate has to pass the SSC / equivalent examination between 2020 and 2023. Candidate has to pass HSC / equivalent examination from any Education Board in 2024.
In both SSC and HSC level, including 4th subject, the total minimum GPA should be 6.50. However, the minimum GPA must be 3.00 separately. Candidates should have Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics subjects in Higher Secondary / Equivalent level.

Dhaka University Technology Unit Admission Application Form can be filled through collegeadmission.eis.du.ac.bd website. Online application started on 6 January 2025. The last date of application is 12 February 2025.
Technology Unit Marks Distribution
Duration of admission test of technology unit is 1 hour 30 minutes. A total of 120 questions have to be answered in MCQ method. The Total Marks is 120. Pass marks will be 48. There is no negative marking in the technology Colleges/institutions. It has the opportunity to use a calculator.
Admission Test will be taken on four subjects. Admission Test Full Marks will be 120. Admission Test will be held for Physics = 35, Chemistry = 35, Mathematics = 35 and English = 15 marks.
